2011 in review

*Here is how WordPress summarized my blog in 2011! Much better than 2010. Here is to a new year and more blogging ahead!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 19,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 7 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

p.s.

This is my first post for 2012, and here is what Erasmus has to say about it… Yes, my love for writing continually grows.

So cute. #cats #catsofinstagram #catsofyangon #temple #travel #yangon #myanmar Will really miss Myanmar... #buddha #travel #yangon #myanmar I wanted something local nearby to eat for our last lunch here. They came up with this one, they say its Kachin food. Hope it is good. Lol. #lunch #food #travel #yangon #myanmar Waiting for the right light. It feels like half of Yangon is here. #travel #pagoda #yangon #myanmar What do locals do on a Sunday? #park #travel #yangon #myanmar Back in Yangon. They let us check-in early for free as returning guests. Yay! But no breakfast, so we ventured out in the market a block away. Found youtiao that people buy as soon as its cooked. Also some fresh strawberries. We just asked for tea at the hostel. So good. Yangon, so far, was kindest and easiest for us. #breakfast #travel #yangon #myanmar
