Being out of the country twice in a month feels like going down a rabbit hole. You are plunged in a strange place, everything is a rush, and you always feel like you’re late. It’s a wild chase about everything. I never had the time to write everything, not even a travel journal. But what I took with me is a tiny camera, to look into the strange world that I have been plunged into.
I didn’t travel just to travel. I was there for conferences and it was always the first order of business. After that came the museum and gallery tours, some are part of the conference while others I go out of my way to reach. I look forward to sharing those travels here. It is the question of time which is always the constraint.
I feel things are slowly settling down. Or not. Hopefully, I get more opportunities to share my stories and my academic writings at the same time. It is a matter of breathing after you surface and getting your bearings together after riding a fantasy.
If I can write longer than JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit on Facebook, I’m pretty sure I can handle some blog posts. Here’s to more art stories and more adventures to come along the way!
